Primark is the king of budget bargains and we all own at least one thing, whether it’s pants, socks, t-shirts or something slightly thicker. The boutique quickly gained a reputation for making lookalikes of its designer counterparts, but for a small part of the price.
The retailer took to “the gram” to share a photo of quilted shirts alongside the caption “A quilted shirt is a spring wardrobe staple Swipe to see details Recycled Polyester #PrimarkCares #Primark #New “.
In true Primark style, the comments section fell into absolute chaos. “Tried one – they looked awful – shame they weren’t made for short people,” one angry buyer wrote.

Another client is obsessed with pastel shades. “Love these gorgeous spring colors,” they said.
And a third commented that the jacket gives them EastEnders character vibes. They said, “Give me Bernie out of the EastEnders vibe that purple is.” It was unexpected!
Fans will also love that it looks identical to the £50 Zara version. And it’s not just because they look a bit alike. It’s a case of – if the Primark version didn’t have the chest pocket, you wouldn’t be able to tell them apart.
On its website, Zara describes the jacket as “a loose quilted jacket with a round neckline and long sleeves. Front patch pockets with snap button flaps, hem side vents and front snap button closure.
