The royal couple were all smiles as they dressed for their second appearance in The Hague, with Harry also opting for a casual look in a black polo neck and blue chinos.

During the visit, a large group of Americans in the crowd called out to the Duchess and she responded with a smile and a wave, with shouts of “Meghan, over here” from onlookers hoping to get her attention then. as she walked with other dignitaries for the center of the course.

She then watched as Harry was driven in a white Land Rover through a water hazard on the course. The Queen’s grandson ultimately chose not to drive, but sat in the passenger seat as the car slowly drove through around two feet of water.

Critics have accused the couple of “cashing in” on the Games by allowing Netflix, with whom they signed a $100 million deal, private meetings.

Some fear they’re also “exploiting the Queen”, saying their top-secret trip on Thursday to “clean up talks” with the elderly monarch and Prince Charles at Windsor Castle was meant to please their American producers and “spin “their side of the rank. .

Pictures from yesterday showed the film crew standing apart from dozens of photographers covering Harry and Meghan’s arrival in The Hague.

The Games mark the couple’s first public return to Europe since they acrimoniously stepped down as senior royals and plunged the Crown into crisis.

Meghan Markle wore a £3,200 white Valentino suit yesterday which may have been inspired by a look recently worn by her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, who opted for an all-white suit while touring the Caribbean on last month.

The Duchess of Sussex wore a double-breasted wool blazer costing £2,100 which she paired with high waisted trousers costing £1,100. She boldly chose not to wear a top underneath.

To be on the safe side, Kate last month opted for a fresh white £1,370 jacket with matching £575 trousers by Alexander McQueen which she paired with a bright orange shirt during a meeting with the Prime Minister from Jamaica.

Showing her penchant for coordination, Meghan added gold embellishments to the clean look.

Going to Valentino all around, she carried a £2,200 off-white bag from the Italian designer. She also accessorized with a Golden “Pendant Love” by designer Sophie Lis, which refers to a French poem about lasting and growing love.

The necklace, first worn by Meghan in 2020, is made by designer Sophie Lis, is engraved “Qu’hier” after a diamond-encrusted plus sign, and “Que Demain” followed by a ruby minus sign.
