Drake and Nike’s NOCTA label just released an “Alien Gortex” jacket to celebrate the launch of Boy Top season two.
Drake served as an executive producer on Boy Top and bought the rights to the British crime drama after it was unexpectedly axed by Channel 4 in 2011. Last week the show returned after three years, with a roster of talented actors and even stronger revivals.
Fans had already started wondering if the aesthetic behind NOCTA was inspired by the show, so when news of an upcoming apparel collection broke, all eyes were on a high-profile collaboration. The resulting garment is a color-block blue and black jacket, a piece that draws inspiration from the active sportswear-street wardrobe from last season on Netflix.
Donned by Micheal Ward’s character, Jamie, the Collaborative Jacket is fully prepared for the elements thanks to its 100% polyester shell. Fusing both function and design, details include two-way zippers, storm flap with adjustable hood and rubberized NOCTA logo. On the opposite side, you’ll find a similarly embossed rubberized Nike Swoosh, while a waterproof GORE-TEX Infinium membrane completes the whole thing.
