Copilot rain jacket: put on weather protection with the new jacket from 7Mesh

Posted on Aug 19, 2022 by Andrew Marshall

When the weather gets tough, you want rain protection you can access in a jiffy. The revised version Copilot 7Mesh’s cycling rain jacket seeks to provide just that. This is a seam-sealed, dropped hem, relaxed fit rain jacket that clips to your bike, saving you time and storage space when both are valuable.

The Copilot packs into its own back pocket when you’re ready to store it on your bike. According to information from 7mesh, it fits just about anywhere: down tube, top tube, bars, etc.

Other features include a helmet-compatible hood with 3-way drawcords, water-resistant zipper and GORE-TEX Paclite Plus 40d outer fabric.

Elastic cuffs help keep the sleeves down when the wind starts to whip and cuffs get wet, and reflective logos improve visibility in all conditions.

The men’s cut is available in blue or black, and 7mesh makes the women’s version in “port”, as in burgundy-hued wine. From what we can tell, the difference between the men’s and women’s entries is only the cut and color.
