Leather shirts and leather blazers were really in fashion in 2021. The sturdy material has now received a new design, but when it comes to coolness it is in no way inferior to its predecessors – see for yourself!

Leather looks, especially in the form of vegan faux leather, have been ubiquitous since 2021. While last year blazers, culottes and shirts were mostly made from the matte and shiny material, in 2022 , these are the coats that fashionistas wear from top to bottom. Three models stand out in particular. We have gathered for you what they are and how best to style them.

Matrix leather coat black

Shortly before the start of the year, the fourth installment of the Matrix series was released in cinemas. Already the first film had fashioned a whole generation. A small style revival can also be noticed after Matrix Resurrections. Black coats almost to the floor with a straight cut can be seen in Paris for Haute Couture week as well as in Copenhagen for Fashion Week. Trend-conscious women give their style a bold, almost futuristic edge with the sturdy fashion material. However, you have to pay attention to one thing: the coat should remain the centerpiece of the look, so the restraint applies to the pants and the top. As for accessories, sporty eyewear designs or metallic elements are recommended.

Cool, cool, leather trench coat

A model that we particularly like is the faux leather trench coat. The coat is usually worn in midi length and is suitable for all body types. Why? Quite simply: Short people often have to pay attention to the length of coats, which is why knee-length trench coats are ideal. Another positive point is the waist belt, which evokes a slim waist. The old military coat can be worn both casually and elegantly because it is so wonderfully versatile. If you prefer the boho style, you should use a light brown model.

The main thing is soft hug

Unfortunately, the temperatures are still freezing, which is why our outerwear should not be devoid of heating elements. Model Elsa Hosk swears by a fur-lined suede model this winter. We already know similar models with long faux fur inserts on the collar and on the arms from the 1968s. True to the motto: “Wild and freedom”, we bring a little swing into the winter wardrobe with the soft leather coats. Flared denim pants can be combined with this, but long dresses or wide pants are also good.
